    Hi All

The clouds parted revealing a sky full of little dim twinkling lights to
the shocked inhabitants of the rain forest... Two were noted flying in
    formation...

I took the opportunity to concurrently test the radio obs setup along
with the visual obs setup and obtained this Doppler curve of the pass as
    well:

I also discovered my zoom lens doesn't like the cold. The grease seems
to dislike near zero degree temperatures. While taking the lens apart to
warm it up and determine the amount of work to replace the grease I
discovered that the auto aperture, which I don't use, was partially
closed! I manually cranked it open and can now see stars to 11th
    magnitude. Bonus!

    Regards,
    Scott
